Audio Books
There are some great places available online for free and easy to use audiobooks. Many of our teachers use the audio to help students follow along as well as help them to understand some of the language being used in some of the classics they are reading, audio books are also helpful for those lower level readers that you may have in your classes. These can be a great way for them to help improve their reading skills by reading along with the audio. In the media center there are only a few of the required reading audio books so many of the teachers are always looking for different titles. I have found quite a few good websites to use for these teachers to find books like Huckleberry Finn, Romeo and Juliet, and other classics, but you can also find quite a few for fun reading materials as well. Most of these websites will download the book onto your iTunes or you can just play it chapter by chapter in your web browser.
